Jane Biggio has been living in the Mt. Washington Valley since 1991. She attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy and earned a BS in Marine Engineering. Jane has had a passion for movement and philosophy since she was a child. Following this passion has lead her to a dedicated practice of the martial art of Kokika Aikido, and the healing art of the TragerŪ Approach. Both of these practices blend movement and stillness. They have shown her how mind, body and soul are truly one inseparable whole.

Jane has a unique ability to combine the process of learning with great joy and happiness. She brings a sense of security, comfort, and compassion to her TragerŪ practice that is reassuring and supportive of her client's process of release. Jane brings her enthusiasm for combining physical awareness with healing and philosophy to her Aikido classes in a way that is lighthearted, fun, and interesting.

The TragerŪ Approach and Kokikai Aikido are mediums through which Jane can share the lessons that she is constantly learning and refining so as to live life in a way that is joyful, peaceful, and meaningful.

Jane is a mother of three children, ages 7, 10, and 12. She enjoys gardening, reading, mountain biking, hiking and telemark skiing. Her favorite book is "Transformation at the Base, 50 Verses on the Nature of Consciousness" by Thich Nhat Hanh.
